Are your vans ULEZ compliant?

Yes. Every van in our fleet is ULEZ compliant, so there is no ULEZ charge anywhere in the zone, which now covers all of Greater London. The vans are also fully electric while serving, with no engine running, so there are no exhaust fumes and no engine noise while we serve. You can read more in our guide to ULEZ and ice cream vans.

Do you need permission to serve in a London park?

Usually, yes. Trading in a public park generally needs approval from whoever manages it, which could be the borough council, the Royal Parks or another body such as the City of London Corporation. The event organiser normally arranges this. We supply our insurance, hygiene rating and risk assessment for the application. Our London permissions guide explains the basics.

Can you serve at an office in central London?

Yes, if there is somewhere the van can legally stop, such as a private forecourt, courtyard or service yard. Kerbside space in central London is scarce and often restricted, so we work with your facilities team on access before the day. With no engine running, the van can sit by an entrance without filling it with fumes.

Which parts of London do you cover?

All 32 London boroughs and the City of London, from Hillingdon in the west to Havering in the east and from Enfield down to Croydon, where we are based. Travel is one of the things a quote takes into account, so tell us your postcode, the date and roughly how many guests you expect.
