Do you serve community events in Newham parks?

Yes, with the right permission. Most parks are run by the council, while West Ham Park is managed by the City of London Corporation. Ask them about vehicle access and food sales. We can send our insurance, hygiene and risk assessment documents.

Can you serve at a stand at a trade show or conference?

Ice cream on a stand is a strong way to draw visitors. While serving, the van runs on batteries, so it is silent and fume-free. The venue and organiser must approve it, and floor access, door sizes and the route from the loading bay must be checked first. See our corporate events page and corporate event ice cream guide.

Newham is one of the youngest and most diverse boroughs in London. Stratford has grown around the Olympic legacy, with London Stadium and big new neighbourhoods, while ExCeL London in the Royal Docks hosts some of the largest exhibitions and conferences in the country. East Ham, Forest Gate and Plaistow have long established communities and busy local parks. Events here range from trade shows and sports days to religious festivals, school fairs and family parties.

With so many people and so much construction and traffic, air quality is a real concern for Newham residents. Our vans run the freezers and soft serve machine from the battery, so no engine runs while we serve. That makes them a good fit for schools, community centres and estates. For exhibition halls and large indoor venues, with nothing running while we serve, some indoor and covered venues can accept the van, subject to their own access and safety rules.

Exhibition halls have strict processes

Large venues like ExCeL have their own catering rules and approved supplier processes. Ask your venue or event organiser what is allowed before booking, and we will supply our documents.

Community and religious festivals

For Eid, Diwali or other celebrations, talk to us early about timing and menu. Ask us about any dietary requirements before booking so we can give you a clear answer.

Wedding ice cream van hire in Newham

Newham has some of the largest banqueting halls in London, and big South Asian, African and Eastern European weddings with hundreds of guests are common in East Ham, Forest Gate and Stratford. Around the Royal Docks and Canning Town, newer riverside and dockside venues and hotels host receptions with views across the water, and Stratford has modern spaces near the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

With a large guest list, the real question is queue management. We can set a serving window and work to a prepaid token system so guests do not pay at the van and the line keeps moving. Dockside venues usually have service roads and loading areas, which makes parking simple. The van produces no exhaust while we serve, so it can stand by the main doors. If guests have dietary requirements, ask us about the menu.
