Wedding ice cream van hire in Croydon
Croydon is home ground for us, with our registered office in South Croydon. Weddings here happen in hotels and function rooms in the town centre, churches and halls in Purley, Coulsdon and Addiscombe, and golf clubs and large gardens in Selsdon and the southern edge of the borough where it meets the Surrey hills. Big family weddings also fill community halls in Thornton Heath and Norbury.
Being local helps with timings and with knowing the roads. Town centre venues often have car parks or service yards, while gardens in Purley and Coulsdon may sit on steep roads, so we check the spot first. The van serves on battery power, with no engine noise or fumes while it serves, so it can stay near guests all afternoon. It is fully ULEZ compliant, which matters across all of Croydon.
Ice cream van hire in Croydon: questions
- Are you based in Croydon?
- Yes. Our registered office is in South Croydon, CR2, so Croydon is our home patch. Being local means short journeys to events in Purley, Coulsdon, Sanderstead, Selsdon, Addiscombe and Thornton Heath, and it can help with shorter-notice bookings when we have a van free. Call or WhatsApp 020 8088 5431 to check a date.
- Can you serve at an event in a Croydon park?
- We can serve at events in parks such as Lloyd Park, Wandle Park, Park Hill Park or South Norwood Country Park when the organiser has permission for catering from the council. Private parties in a public park also need approval before any trading. We provide our insurance, hygiene rating and risk assessment to support the request.
- Do you cover Norbury, Thornton Heath and South Norwood?
- Yes. We cover the whole borough, from Norbury, Thornton Heath and South Norwood in the north to Purley, Kenley and Coulsdon in the south, and out east to New Addington. Tell us your postcode and event details and we will come back with availability and a tailored quote.
- Can you serve at a Croydon school?
- Yes. School fairs, sports days and end-of-term treats are a great fit for an ice cream van. We can serve from the playground or the edge of the field, and run a prepaid token system so pupils do not bring cash. We send our insurance, risk assessment and food hygiene documents to the school in advance.
