Ice cream van hire in Havering
Battery-powered ice cream vans for Havering's gardens, parks, schools and wedding venues.
Havering sits on London's eastern edge and feels close to Essex. Romford is a major town centre with a long history as a market town, while Hornchurch, Upminster and Emerson Park are suburban, with large gardens and quiet roads. Beyond them, the borough opens out into green belt land and country parks. That makes Havering a natural fit for garden parties, weddings, christenings and family celebrations, as well as school fairs and summer fun days.
Outdoor events in a quiet suburb are exactly where a diesel van stands out for the wrong reasons. Our vans are 100% electric while serving, so the freezers and soft serve machine run from the battery with no engine running. While we serve there is no noise over a garden party and no fumes drifting across a marquee. Havering is inside the London ULEZ, and our vans are compliant. We also cover the Essex towns next door. See our Essex ice cream van hire page.

Wedding ice cream van hire in Havering
Havering is London's most suburban and rural corner in the east, with a lot of green belt around Upminster and beyond. Weddings here take place in golf clubs, country hotels, barns and farm venues, as well as the register office and churches in Romford and Hornchurch. Many families also hold a garden party at home, since houses in Upminster and Emerson Park often come with large gardens.
Access is usually easy, with car parks and wide drives, but grass and gravel need a quick check after wet weather. A rural reception often has a long afternoon between the meal and the evening, which is a good time for the van to open. It is fully electric while serving, so it can sit silently near the marquee through speeches. It is fully ULEZ compliant too, which helps on the drive in.
Havering: questions
- Can you serve at a wedding in Havering or nearby Essex?
- Yes. We can serve at private homes, marquees and wedding venues in Havering and across Essex. The van is silent during speeches and produces no fumes while serving. Premium waffle cones and Knickerbocker Glories are popular choices for weddings. See our weddings page.
- Do you serve at christenings and family celebrations?
- Yes. Christenings, anniversaries and birthdays at home or at a hall are a good fit for an ice cream van. We set up quietly before guests arrive and serve for an agreed time, so the van fits around the meal, the cake and any speeches. See our christenings page and anniversaries page.
- How do I get a quote for an event in Romford?
- Call or WhatsApp 020 8088 5431, email [email protected], or use our contact form. Tell us the date, address, guest numbers and how long you need the van, plus anything about access or parking. Quotes are tailored to each event, and a small deposit secures your date once you are happy.
