Ice cream van hire in Haringey
Battery-powered ice cream vans for Haringey's parks, festivals and neighbourhood events.
Haringey covers a striking range of London in a small area. To the west are the Victorian streets of Crouch End, Muswell Hill and Highgate, with their parks, schools and independent cafés. To the east are Tottenham and Wood Green, with large and diverse communities, a new stadium and a busy events calendar. Between them sit Alexandra Palace and Finsbury Park, which host some of North London's biggest gatherings, from concerts and festivals to fireworks nights.
Our vans suit both sides of the borough. On the residential hills of Crouch End and Muswell Hill, a van that is silent while serving can serve a street party or garden celebration without an engine running outside someone's window. In Tottenham and Wood Green, it can stand beside a school, a community centre or an estate fun day without adding exhaust to already busy roads while it serves. Haringey falls inside the London ULEZ, and our vans are compliant.

01
Check who runs the venue
Alexandra Palace has its own trust and event team, and Highgate Wood is managed by the City of London Corporation. Most other parks are council run. Speak to the right one about vehicle access and food sales.
02
Plan for hills
Some roads around Muswell Hill and Highgate are steep. Tell us if the van needs to stand on a slope so we can find the safest level spot nearby.
03
Street parties
Road closures for street parties need an application to the council. Include the van in your plans and agree where it will stand. Our community events page has more.

Wedding ice cream van hire in Haringey
Alexandra Palace dominates the skyline in Haringey and hosts large events, while Highgate, Muswell Hill and Crouch End offer smaller restaurant receptions, church weddings and garden parties in big Victorian houses. Further east, Tottenham and Wood Green have community halls and banqueting suites used for larger family weddings with long guest lists and a full day of celebration. Crouch End also has a good choice of bars that take private hire.
Hilly roads around Muswell Hill and Highgate can make parking awkward, so we like to know the street, the gradient and how far guests will walk from the reception to the van. At big halls the question is usually timing: with several hundred guests, a set serving window keeps queues moving. Our vans are silent and fume-free while serving, so they can stand by an open door or a terrace without bothering anyone inside.
Haringey: questions
- Can you serve at a festival in Finsbury Park or Alexandra Palace?
- We can serve at events at either venue when the organiser has approved catering. Large festivals usually have their own trader application process. If you are organising an event, contact us early and we will supply our insurance, hygiene and risk assessment documents. See our festival catering guide.
- Is an ice cream van suitable for an estate fun day in Tottenham?
- Yes. The van is silent and produces no fumes while serving, so it can stand close to play areas and flats. Many organisers use prepaid tokens so children can choose an ice cream without paying. Ask your housing provider or council about permissions first.
- Can you come to a garden party in Crouch End?
- Yes, if there is safe parking on the road outside or a drive. Many Crouch End streets are narrow, so a parking bay suspension can help. While serving, the van is quiet enough that neighbours barely notice it. Our garden parties page has ideas.
