Ice cream van hire in Muswell Hill
Quiet, battery-powered ice cream vans for Muswell Hill's family homes, schools and park events.
Muswell Hill was built mostly in the Edwardian years, and its streets of red brick family houses still look much as they did, fanning out from the Broadway and the roundabout at the top of the hill. It is a family suburb with busy primary schools, cafés and independent shops, and views across London from the edge of Alexandra Park. Garden parties, children's birthdays, school fairs and community events fill the summer, while Ally Pally hosts concerts and its famous fireworks in autumn.
Most Muswell Hill roads are lined with parked cars, and many sit on a slope, so van position needs planning. A level spot on the road, a school playground or a church car park works best. Alexandra Park and Palace have their own management, so ask them about events there. Our vans serve on battery power. There is no engine running while we serve, so no exhaust drifting into gardens or front rooms, and no noise to bother neighbours on a quiet afternoon.

Muswell Hill: questions
- Can the van park on a hill outside our house?
- The van needs to stand level so the soft serve machine works properly. Gentle slopes may be fine, but steep roads can rule out parking right outside. A flatter section of the road or a nearby side street often solves it. Send us your address and we will look before quoting.
- Do you serve at events at Alexandra Palace?
- We can serve at Alexandra Palace or in Alexandra Park when the organiser has agreed it with the palace and park's own management, who handle permission for vehicles and catering. Speak to them first, then talk to us. We can supply our insurance, hygiene and risk assessment documents.
- What is a good plan for a child's birthday party?
- Book a serving window of around an hour after the main food. Keep choices simple, with the Single with Flake, Rainbow Sprinkle Cone, Marshmallow Cone and a couple of lollies. Let us know about allergies in advance. See our children's parties page and allergen information.
