Can you take a short-notice booking in Sutton?

Sometimes. Sutton borders Croydon, where we are based, so if a van is free we can often get there easily. Summer weekends book up first, so the earlier you ask the better. Call or WhatsApp us on 020 8088 5431 for the quickest answer on availability.

Do you cover Worcester Park and Belmont?

Yes. We cover all of Sutton, including Worcester Park, North Cheam, Belmont, Carshalton Beeches, Hackbridge and Wallington. We also cover the Surrey towns just beyond the border, such as Banstead, Epsom and Ewell. See our Surrey ice cream van hire page for the rest of the county.

Can you serve at a Carshalton village event?

We can, provided the organiser has permission for catering and the van can reach a level spot near the event. Village events often run on roads or greens with limited vehicle access, so we agree arrival times and the van's position with the organiser in advance.

Sutton sits on London's southern border with Surrey, right next door to our base in South Croydon. It is a suburban borough with a strong village character in places like Carshalton and Cheam, a busy town centre in Sutton itself, and quiet residential roads across Wallington, Belmont and Worcester Park. Its calendar is full of the events that suit an ice cream van best: school fetes, birthday parties, church summer fairs and family gatherings in back gardens and local parks.

Because Sutton is so close to us, it is one of the easiest boroughs for us to reach, which can help with shorter-notice bookings when a van is free. Our vans are 100% electric while serving and run silently, so a garden party in Cheam or a playground event in Wallington goes ahead without engine noise or exhaust fumes. Carshalton's ponds and parks make a lovely backdrop for summer events, and we can work from a park path, a driveway or a school car park.

Parks and public spaces need the organiser to hold permission from the council or the site’s operator. We bring the documents they usually ask for.

Booking in SuttonGood to know

Short notice is sometimes possible

Being local means we can sometimes say yes to a booking at a few days' notice. It is never guaranteed in summer, so call or WhatsApp rather than emailing if your date is close.

School car parks and drop-off

For school events, plan for the van to arrive after the morning drop-off and before the main event starts. Check whether the gate is wide enough and whether staff cars will need to move.

Parks are council-run

Most of Sutton's parks are run by the council or its partners. Private events and anything involving trading usually need permission, so ask before you invite guests.

Wedding ice cream van hire in Sutton

Sutton is a suburban borough with a lot of green space, and weddings here often take place in golf clubs, hotels, church halls and family gardens across Cheam, Carshalton and Wallington. Carshalton has historic buildings and ponds that make a pretty backdrop for photographs, and the borough borders Surrey, so country venues are a short drive away. Plenty of couples marry locally and hold the party at home, where a van in the drive is easy to arrange.

Suburban venues usually have car parks or side roads with room for the van, which keeps things simple. For a garden wedding, tell us whether the van will park on the drive or the road and how far guests will walk. It serves on battery power, so while we serve there is no engine sound near the marquee and no exhaust near guests. Being close to our South Croydon base also helps with scheduling.
