Worcester Park is a suburban area that straddles three boroughs, with most of it in Sutton and parts in Kingston and Epsom and Ewell. It takes its name from the Earl of Worcester, who was keeper of the Great Park attached to Henry VIII's Nonsuch Palace. Today it is a residential area of interwar and post-war family houses, with a shopping street along Central Road and a railway station on the line into Waterloo.

It is a family-focused place, so most events here are children's parties, garden gatherings, school summer fairs and sports club days. Gardens are often a good size, and many roads are quiet cul-de-sacs, which suits a van well.
