Ice cream van hire in Chessington
Quiet battery-powered ice cream vans for Chessington's family parties, schools and green spaces.
Chessington is the southernmost part of the Royal Borough of Kingston, where the suburbs give way to fields and woodland on the way to Epsom. Most people know the name from Chessington World of Adventures, the theme park and zoo on the Leatherhead Road. The town itself is quieter: residential streets, two railway stations at the end of a branch line from Waterloo, and a good number of schools. Hook and Tolworth lie just to the north.
It is a family area, so children's birthday parties, school fairs and sports days are what we hear about most. There is also a lot of open land nearby, with Horton Country Park just over the border and Kingston's own nature reserves. Gardens tend to be decent sized, and many roads are quiet, which makes parking straightforward. Our vans serve on battery power, without engine noise or exhaust, which suits a children's party on a residential road.

Wedding ice cream van hire in Chessington
Chessington sits between Kingston and Epsom, close to golf clubs, country hotels and farm venues along the Surrey border. Barn and farm venues often have gravel or grass approaches, so ask where a van can park on firm ground. With no engine running while we serve, the van can stand near a barn door or marquee without fumes. A short menu of Mr. Whippy cones and premium waffle cones keeps the queue moving.

Chessington: questions
- Can you serve inside Chessington World of Adventures?
- No. The theme park has its own catering and its own rules. We serve private events, schools, community groups and businesses in the area around it. If you are planning a party nearby, we are happy to come to your home, club or hall.
- Do you cover Hook and Tolworth too?
- Yes. We cover Chessington, Hook, Tolworth and the rest of Kingston, plus Epsom, Ewell and the Surrey towns beyond. Tell us the postcode so we can plan the route and arrival time. We also travel further into Surrey, including Leatherhead, Dorking and the villages around them.
- What should we think about for a children's party?
- Choose a short menu so children are not overwhelmed, and pick a safe spot for the queue away from traffic. Favourites include the Marshmallow Cone, Rainbow Sprinkle Cone and Screwball with Flake. Ask us about allergens before the day. See our children's parties page and allergen information.
