Ice cream van hire in Haywards Heath
Battery-powered ice cream vans for Haywards Heath and Mid Sussex: garden parties, school fairs, shows and country weddings.
Haywards Heath grew up around its railway station on the Brighton main line, and it remains a commuter town with fast trains to London and Brighton. The centre is compact, with a high street, the Broadway and the old Muster Green, and the town is surrounded by Mid Sussex villages such as Lindfield, Cuckfield and Ardingly. The South of England Showground at Ardingly lies just to the north, and Wakehurst's gardens are close by.
Haywards Heath is a family town, and the events we hear about are mostly garden parties, children's birthdays, school fairs and village fetes, with weddings in the countryside around. Lindfield's common and pond make it one of the prettiest village settings in the county. Our vans run silently from the battery while we serve. Gardens with a drive or a firm verge suit the van well, and neighbours are not troubled by noise or fumes.

Haywards Heath: questions
- Do you trade at shows near Haywards Heath?
- We can, when the organiser has a trading pitch for us. The showground at Ardingly hosts large events, and organisers there allocate pitches and collect paperwork well in advance. Tell us the dates, expected visitor numbers and opening hours, and we will suggest a fast menu built around lollies and Mr. Whippy cones. See our guide to country shows.
- Do you cover Lindfield and Cuckfield?
- Yes. We cover Haywards Heath and the places around it, including Lindfield, Cuckfield, Ardingly, Scaynes Hill and Burgess Hill. Lindfield's High Street and Cuckfield's narrow centre have little parking, so a private drive or school is often best. Tell us where the van could stand and send your postcode and date for a quote.
- Can you serve at an event in Victoria Park?
- Victoria Park is a public park, so events and food trading there need permission from the council that manages it. If you are organising a summer fair or fundraiser, check what they allow and where vehicles can enter. Once you have the go-ahead, we will send our documents and agree an arrival time with you.
