Ice cream van hire in Crawley
Battery-powered ice cream vans for Crawley's neighbourhoods, schools, parks and workplaces around Gatwick.
Crawley is a post-war new town built around an old market village, and Gatwick Airport sits on its northern edge. The town is laid out in neighbourhoods, each with its own parade of shops, schools and green spaces, from Three Bridges and Pound Hill to Broadfield and the newest area at Forge Wood. It has a young, diverse population, and a large share of local people work at the airport or for the businesses in the Manor Royal estate.
That shapes the events we hear about: children's parties, school sports days and fairs, community fun days, and staff days for airport and business park employers. Crawley is a straightforward run down the M23 from our South Croydon base. Our vans keep everything frozen on battery power, with no engine running while we serve, so there are no fumes near children in the queue and no noise outside the neighbours' homes.

Wedding ice cream van hire in Crawley
Crawley couples often use hotels near Gatwick and the M23, function suites for large family weddings, or country venues in the Sussex countryside around Worth and Rusper. Sites close to the airport may have security rules for vehicles, so check those in advance. The van can park close to the venue door without exhaust, and tokens keep a big queue of guests moving.

Crawley: questions
- Where could a van stand at a Tilgate Park event?
- Tilgate Park is a big council park with lakes, a nature centre and woodland, and vehicles are kept to set roads and car parks. Any event with a van needs the council's agreement on both trading and the spot itself. Ask them early, then send us the plan and we will provide our insurance and risk assessment.
- Do you cover staff events near Gatwick?
- Yes, outside secure airside areas. Offices, hotels and depots around Gatwick and Manor Royal often have car parks that suit a van. Site security may need our vehicle details and documents in advance, so give us a contact. Prepaid tokens work well for staff on different shifts. See our corporate events page.
- Can you come to a party in a Crawley neighbourhood?
- Yes. Many Crawley roads have parking bays, cul-de-sacs and shared greens, and the newer estates at Forge Wood and Kilnwood Vale have tight turning heads. Tell us where the van could stand, such as a drive, a bay or the end of a close. If space is tight we will say so before you book.
