Any event or trading there needs the council's permission, and they will say where a vehicle can go. For most private parties, a garden, school or church hall nearby is far easier to arrange.
- Can the van get into the city centre on a market day?
- On Wednesdays and Saturdays the market takes over St Peter's Street, and the narrow streets around it get very busy. A van can still reach most addresses, but we plan the route and timing carefully.
