Sevenoaks is a commuter town on the Greensand Ridge, with fast trains to London and a high street of independent shops and old coaching inns. Knole, the great house and deer park owned by the National Trust, starts right at the edge of the town centre. The Vine cricket ground, one of the oldest in the country, sits just north of the High Street. There are several well-known schools, and large houses with big gardens are common.

Events around Sevenoaks tend to be private parties, school occasions and village fetes in places such as Otford, Kemsing and Seal. Roads here can be steep and narrow, so we always check access.
