Tonbridge is a working market town on the River Medway, with the gatehouse of its medieval castle standing over the river at the north end of the High Street. Boats can be hired on the Medway in summer, and the riverside paths connect the castle to the sports ground and Haysden Country Park. It is a busy commuter town with good trains to London, and several well-known schools, including Tonbridge School on the High Street.

The open land along the river is where many local events happen, from fun runs to fairs. Family parties on the estates around the town and school summer events make up much of the rest. Our vans run the freezers and soft serve machine from batteries, so there is no engine running beside a picnic area or a crowd sitting on the grass by the castle.
