Putney is a riverside town at the western end of Wandsworth, where Putney Bridge crosses to Fulham. The Embankment is lined with rowing clubs, and the University Boat Race starts here each spring. Up the hill from the High Street, the streets get leafier and the houses bigger, until you reach Putney Heath and Putney Lower Common. It is a family area with good schools and plenty of young professionals too.

Events here range from garden parties and children's birthdays to school fairs, rowing club days and office events. The High Street and the roads around the bridge are busy, and many residential roads have controlled parking, so we always plan where the van will stand.
