Ice cream van hire in Maidenhead

Battery-powered ice cream vans for Maidenhead's riverside, schools, workplaces and weddings along the Thames.

Maidenhead is a Thames-side town where the river is the big draw. Boulter's Lock and Ray Mill Island sit just upstream of the town bridge, and Brunel's brick railway bridge, with its famously flat arches, crosses the river nearby. The town centre is being rebuilt with new homes and squares, and the Elizabeth line has made it a quick commute to London. Bray and Cookham, two of the best known Thames villages, are close by.

Maidenhead has plenty of family events, school fairs and staff days at the company offices around the town, as well as garden parties in the riverside villages. Parking near the river is limited, so we plan where the van will stand well before the day. With the freezers and soft serve machine running from the battery, the van serves silently, with no fumes near guests and no noise along quiet riverside roads.

Wedding ice cream van hire in Maidenhead

The Thames around Maidenhead has many wedding venues, from riverside hotels and boathouses to country houses and estates in Bray and Cookham. Lawns that run down to the water can be soft, and access lanes are often narrow, so tell us early where the van could stand. With no fumes while we serve, it can sit close to the reception and serve through the evening as the light goes over the river.

Maidenhead: questions

Can you serve on Ray Mill Island?
Ray Mill Island is a small council-run park reached by a footbridge, with very limited vehicle access. Any event or trading there needs the council's permission, and there may simply not be room for a van. For a riverside party, a nearby private garden, hotel or club car park along the river is usually more practical.
Do you cover Cookham, Bray and the villages?
Yes. We cover Maidenhead and the villages around it, including Cookham, Bray, Holyport, Furze Platt and Pinkneys Green. Holyport has a large village green and Cookham a busy high street with little parking, so the best spot varies a lot. Send us your postcode and date and we will suggest where the van could stand.
Can you come to an office event in Maidenhead?
Yes. Many company offices in Maidenhead have car parks or landscaped forecourts that suit a van. We keep the menu short so a queue of staff clears quickly, and we agree a serving window with you in advance. Prepaid tokens let staff collect a treat without paying at the hatch. See our office treats page for ideas.
