Waffle cone
Definition
A waffle cone is a crisp, golden cone rolled from thin baked waffle batter. It is sweeter, sturdier and larger than a standard wafer cone.
Waffle cones are baked flat on a hot iron with a grid pattern, then rolled into a cone while still warm and pliable. Once cool they are crunchy and taste of caramelised sugar and vanilla. They hold more ice cream than a wafer cone and stand up better to heavy toppings.
That sturdiness matters at an event. A waffle cone with Nutella, marshmallow or sherbet stays crisp for longer, and it looks generous in photographs. Our Premium Waffle Cones are the luxury tier of the menu: the Nutella Waffle, Marshmallow Waffle, Sprinkle Waffle and Mixed Sherbet Waffle. The Nutella Waffle is one of our most ordered items and a common wedding pick.
