Ice cream van hire in Pinner

Quiet, battery-powered ice cream vans for Pinner garden parties, school fairs, church fetes and weddings.

Pinner keeps much of the feel of the village it once was. The High Street climbs up to St John the Baptist church, lined with timber-framed buildings, and every year it closes for Pinner Fair, a street fair dating back to a charter granted in the 14th century. Around the centre are streets of 1930s homes with good gardens, served by the Metropolitan line. It is a settled, family-centred place.

Events here tend to be garden parties, school summer fairs, church and scout fetes, and milestone birthdays. Pinner Memorial Park is the main green space, with a lake, play areas and West House, home to the Heath Robinson Museum. The High Street is narrow and parking in the centre is limited, but most residential roads have more room. Our vans are battery-powered and silent while serving, which suits a quiet suburban street.

Wedding ice cream van hire in Pinner

Pinner weddings often begin at a local church and continue with a reception in a garden marquee, a hall, or a golf club. Larger family homes with big gardens make a natural setting for an ice cream van parked on the drive or road. Many Pinner roads are wide enough for this, but the High Street is not. With no engine running while we serve, the van serves silently beside a marquee during speeches and photographs.

Pinner: questions

Can you serve at Pinner Fair?
Pinner Fair is a traditional funfair with its own long-standing operators, so it is not something we can simply join. Our Pinner bookings are for private parties, schools and community events. If you are hosting a celebration on the same day, plan around the High Street closure.
Can you serve a church or scout fete?
Yes. Church grounds and scout huts often have a car park or drive where the van can stand. A short menu of cones, lollies and Slush works well at fetes. Tell us roughly how many visitors you expect and how long the fete runs, and we will tailor a quote. See our charity events page.
Will the van fit on my road?
Most Pinner residential roads are wide enough for the van to park at the kerb. The van needs a level, clear stretch the length of a large van. Send us the address, and if parking is tight, we will look at a driveway or nearby wider road instead.
