The Boat Sundae is our sharing dessert. It is served in a long, boat-shaped dish with two scoops of soft serve and two sauces, so there is room for two people to dig in from either end. It looks like something from an old-fashioned ice cream parlour, and the two sauces mean each half can taste a little different.

Couples love it at weddings and anniversaries, and it is often the dessert that ends up in the photo of the newlyweds sharing a spoon. It also works well for siblings at birthday parties and families at garden parties who would rather share than queue twice. If you want guests to sit down with dessert rather than walk around, it is a good one to include.
