Ice cream van hire in Palmers Green
Quiet, battery-powered ice cream vans for Palmers Green's family parties, schools and parks.
Palmers Green grew up along Green Lanes in the early 20th century, and its streets of Edwardian terraces and semis still house many families. It has one of the largest Greek Cypriot communities outside Cyprus, along with Turkish, Kurdish and many other families, and Green Lanes is lined with bakeries, cafés and restaurants. Broomfield Park is its big green space. Events here are often family celebrations: christenings, name days, birthdays, engagements and school fairs.
Green Lanes is busy, and parking near the shops is limited, so private events are best on a side road, drive or school site. Broomfield Park and Grovelands Park are both close; for events in either, check with Enfield Council about vehicles and food sales. Our vans serve on battery power, so the freezers and soft serve machine run from the battery. There is no engine running outside your house while we serve, and no exhaust drifting over guests in the garden.

Wedding ice cream van hire in Palmers Green
Palmers Green weddings are often big, joyful family affairs, with a church service and a reception at a banqueting hall or hotel in north London or Hertfordshire. Engagement parties and christenings at home are common too. An ice cream van suits the evening, when guests come out for air between dancing. With no fumes while we serve, the van can stand by the entrance. Tell us guest numbers early and check that the venue welcomes outside caterers.

Palmers Green: questions
- Can you serve at an engagement party at home?
- Yes. Engagement parties at home are a good fit, and evening serving is no problem. The van needs a legal, level place on the road or drive. Let us know the start time and expected guest numbers, and we will suggest a serving window that fits around food and toasts.
- Can you bring the van into Broomfield Park?
- Vehicles and trading in Broomfield Park need permission from Enfield Council, so ask them first. If it is allowed, we will agree a safe spot and route with the organiser. We can send our insurance, hygiene and risk assessment documents to support your application.
- What do children like best?
- Children usually go for the Rainbow Sprinkle Cone, the Marshmallow Cone and the Screwball with Flake, with bubblegum at the bottom. Slush Mountain slushies and the Twister lolly are good on hot days. Tell us about any allergies in advance. See our allergen information.
