Ice cream van hire in Clapham

Clapham spans two boroughs, with most of the Common, the Old Town and Clapham High Street in Lambeth, and the western side, towards Clapham Junction, in Wandsworth. The Common is the centre of local life: a huge open space with ponds, a bandstand and sports pitches, crossed by people on their way to the Tube. Around it are Georgian terraces in the Old Town, Victorian streets full of families and young professionals, and a busy run of bars along the High Street.

Events here include garden parties, children's birthdays, school and nursery fairs, sports club days and office summer events. The Common also hosts festivals and large public events in summer. Most residential roads have controlled parking and the main roads are busy, so we plan the van's spot carefully. Our battery-powered vans can serve from a residential street without an engine running, which keeps the neighbours happy and keeps fumes away from guests while we serve.

Event spots in and around Clapham

• Clapham Common

A large common with ponds, a bandstand and sports pitches, managed by Lambeth Council.

• Clapham Old Town

The historic centre near Clapham Common station, with Georgian houses and cafés.

• Holy Trinity Clapham

A Georgian church on the Common, linked to the Clapham Sect of anti-slavery campaigners.

Public spaces need the organiser to hold permission from the council or the site’s managers. We send the documents they usually ask for.
